Pros: I got two of these a month ago for a mirrored pair after yet another seagate drive died. The samsung drives are quiet and appear more reliable.

HDTach reports burst speed of 412 MB/s, and sequential maxes out at 320 MB/s.

Good Drive.
Pros: This drive is certainly good value. Runs smoothly, quietly and relatively quickly.
Cons: Not the quickest drive, but for a $90 SATA drive, runs very well and does as you'd expect.

Fastest 7200rpm Drive
Pros: I've tested the Hitachi, seagate and WD drive against this one in real life and the Samsung F3 wins hands down for speed. although an SSD is much faster these are great for storage or as a main drive if you don't buy an SSD.

Amazing value
Pros: I have one of these just for storage to run along side my system drives, which are 2x 74gb 10,000rpm WD Raptors in RAID0. The Spinpoint smashes even the RAID0 in Everest tests, getting 220mb/s buffered reads, and 140mb/s linear reads! I'll be getting another few of these for a new RAID0 setup for sure!

Just what you'd expect
| Pros: Well, it's a 1TB Sata drive so installation is obviously very easy, the drive is quite, I brought another one of these exact same drives on the 15/08/09 (It cost $177 then) and that drive is still going strong.
I will defiantly buy three more of these once I get a server box instead of faking it with an xp mapping box, then Raid them, that's how much I trust these drives.

Have really not noticed any difference in load times when using this drive. Some reviews also say that its quicker than the WD Black Drives which is the reason i purchased it.

Damn Fast
| Pros: I went from an old Maxtor 80GB 7200rpm to this monster of a drive. Logon times in Windows 7 went from a few minutes until the system was responsive to only 4 seconds. Pretty quiet too. Only noticable noises are spin up, shutdown and heavy random writes and reads. And that's in a quiet room late at night.
